Digitala Lagkassan
Payments happen where members already are
ABOUT THE COMPANY
Digitala Lagkassan helps sports clubs and associations manage payments as part of their day-to-day operations. The service brings everything related to a team's and club's money into one place, so members and administrators work from a shared flow.
The service was founded in 2019 and is used by more than 7,000 teams.
THE CHALLENGE
In a sports club or association, money moves constantly. Membership fees, training fees, tournament fees, kit, travel and whatever ends up in the team fund. Each payment is small, but together there are many of them, and someone has to keep track.
That person is often a treasurer, a team manager or a parent doing it on top of everything else. For many clubs, handling payments still means manual work. Information about who owes what sits in one system, the payment itself happens in another, and reconciliation is done by hand in a third.
For the member, that means extra steps. You see that something needs paying, leave the service you were using, look up the right details and pay somewhere else. The more steps, the higher the chance a payment is forgotten or goes wrong.
For the administrator, it takes time. Every payment arriving through another channel has to be matched to the right member and the right purpose. That is time taken from what the club actually exists to do.
Digitala Lagkassan saw this pattern across the clubs it works with. The question was how payments could become part of the flow members already use, instead of a separate step on the side.
THE SOLUTION
Digitala Lagkassan chose to build payments directly into its existing service. Neuro's payment technology was integrated into the platform, so members can complete a payment in the same flow they already use for the club's other activities.
The member sees what needs paying, pays and is done, without leaving Digitala Lagkassan.
This is what we call embedded payments. Payments become a feature of the customer's own product, with the customer's own user flow and brand. The technology sits in the background and does its job.
For Digitala Lagkassan, this meant a larger share of the payment experience could be gathered in one place. Information about what needs paying and the payment itself now belong together, which also makes it easier to follow what has actually been paid.
The key insight in the project was that the clubs already had a flow that worked. Members were used to Digitala Lagkassan. The smartest move was to bring payments into that flow and let Digitala Lagkassan offer payments as a natural part of its own service.
THE RESULT
The result was a simpler payment flow for members and less manual work for administrators.
For members, the path from "this needs paying" to a completed payment is shorter. What is owed and the means to pay it sit in the same place, in a service they already know.
For treasurers and team managers, it means fewer payments to chase and reconcile by hand. Payment information is clearer and easier to follow, so it is quicker to see who has paid and what is outstanding.
For Digitala Lagkassan, payments became part of its own product. The service can offer clubs a more complete flow, where payments fit together with the rest of club life.
In short: Digitala Lagkassan made payments an integrated part of its service. Members pay where they already are, and the people running the club's finances get time back for something other than reconciliation.
